Dr. Carlos Tatmatsu, PT, PhD
International member, researcher at the Canadian Institute for Mobility and Aging. Professor, Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. PhD in Physiotherapy and Biophysics, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) and Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital; M.Sc. in Biophysics from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Currently, He coordinates a funded research consortium involving Brazilian and Canadian researchers developing new strategies for the use of telereabilitation for patients who have degenerative diseases in order to make rehabilitation accessible for people living in the most deprived areas in Brazil. His research interest are: technological innovation in physiotherapy and phototherapy. He is also a reviewer of the journal Skin Pharmacology and Physiology and Biophysics.
